The California Haunted Investigations

Here are the continuing and most current investigations that we have conducted here in Northern California.  We have already visited several spots and captured activity from orbs to ecto-plasam.  Below are the areas we have visited and will return too.

Sailor Bar County Park - Fair Oaks, California

An orb caught on film by the restroom where wet ghostly footprints was reported.  (Taken August, 2006).

The Haunted Spots of Northern California

Salior Bar County Park - Fair Oaks, California:  As report in the Shadowlands Haunted Places page, a park ranger went to look up the restroom at the park only to find wet footprints leading into the restroom.  We the ranger opened the door, no one was in there.  It is both true and legendary that a fisherman drowned while fishing in those parts.  The park is well know locally as a haunted spot.  During the day it is a popular place for boat launching as well as fishing and swimming (if you can stand the cold water).  We investigated the park this month and took many pictures.  At the present time are thumbing through the pictures, picking out the ones with actual orbs and weeding out the dust particles.  We mainly focused on the restroom and the water area to where the fisherman met his untimely death.  The picture above shows a great orb around the building.  More investigations are forthcoming.

Kilgore Cemetery - Rancho Cordova: One of the oldest cemeteries in the area, Kilgore Cemetery is situated between office buildings in Rancho Cordova.  The cemetery is one of the very few open access cemeteries in Sacramento.  We have visited the cemetery several times and have capture many orbs on film.  On one investigation, I experienced camera trouble in a the Northeast section of the cemetery where after takening a picture, the camera had trouble advancing the film (non digital camera).

Old White House (Fair Oaks Blvd.) - Carmichael: Driving along Fair Oaks Blvd. we found an old two-story white house in the middle of an field with oak trees.  The house was abandon, however we were able to get into the house via the sliding glass door in the back.  Our G.O.S.T. made an investigation there and picked up cold spots, orbs and ecto on film.  Most of the activity was found outside the house. The house was very old.  One neighbor said that the house was built in 1917 and was last lived in 1997.  AS OF JANUARY, 2005, MACHINES TORE DOWN THE HOUSE AND IS A PILE OF RUBBLE.  I'LL BE POSTING BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES OF THE HOUSE SOON.

El Dorado House Cemetery - Cameron Park: This cemetery caught my eye when I saw a posting at the Shadowlands website (under the haunting places page).  This cemetery is an endangered cemetery.  There is alot of overgrowth around the cemetery.  The cemetery is made up entirerly of piled rocks which make up a square.  There is no headstones to mark the graves. Back in 2000, some people cleaned up the area and mark the graves with little flags. The cemetery is unfortunately part of a plot of land that is for sale. It is unknown what will happen to the cemetery if the land is sold, but efforts are being made to save the cemetery.  Our G.O.S.T. has visited the area several times picking up orbs and ecto on film.  It was a recording of a little girl picked up on our audio recorder which blew our minds.  The little girl indentified herself as Alexanderia and was of all people seen walking with me as I took pictures of the site.  The area as a whole is haunted with a wondering spirit which seems to make its way around the cemetery and the road entrance which we have picked up as a evil spirit.  Our last visit, picked up orbs and ecto, and one of our team members expierenced digital camera trouble at the cemetery.  She was not able to get it to work until she arrived home.  The cemetery is part of the Saving Graves website which can be found at the Links page.

Fair Oaks Cemetery - Fair Oaks: Our investigations to the cemetery has been limited to taking pictures from outside the iron bar fence. However it hasn't kept us from picking up orbs and ecto on film.  The cemetery is located in the middle of a residential area. A very well kept cemetery, our G.O.S.T. team will be back to do more investigations and intend to get picture within the cemetery.

Old Fair Oaks Bridge - Fair Oaks: The bridge was an old railroad bridge  that was later transformed into a walking bridge.  My wife and I have continued to visit the bridge on a regular basis.  Ecto-plasam and obs have been picked up on film.  In addition, we have both heard footsteps behind us as we were taking pictures, only to turn around and find nobody there.

Bridge Street - Sacramento:  Behind Renfree Field Park, is Bridge Street.  The area is near Auburn and Annadale Lane, the area where the Thrillkiller lived and was arrested.  The point of activity was the old bridge that connected the driveway of Renfree Field and Bridge Street.  Many orbs were picked up near the center of the bridge and off the bridal trial.  NOTE: AS OF MAY 2005, THE BRIDGE WAS DEMOLISHED BY CONSTRUCTION CREWS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW ONE.  PICTURES OF THE OLD BRIDGE WILL BE POSTED SOON.

Winding Way - Fair Oaks: Heading east is the last section of Winding Way.  The area is mainly surrounded by farming houses and some new sub-divisions part in a few years ago.  During the day, it is a very nice drive.  However at night, as dangerous as the drive is, their is activity along and side of the rode.  My wife and I did captured orbs at the following locations, above the intersection of Fair Oaks Blvd and Winding Way and near the Oxbow Bridge Road.  Because of the lack of area to stop to investigation and the busy road (even at night) our investigations have been limited.  This road does lead to another famous Sacramento haunt, Sailor Bar Park.

Highway 96 - Hoopa: Having driven (and rode) on Highway 96 many times in my life, I've knew there was strange things that go on at night. Only last year did my wife and I did an many investigation.  About half way from Willow Creek towards Hoopa, we heard a strange sound hit the side of the truck.  We stopped to check it out. There was no signs of a dent, rock, stick, anything.  So we took a few pictures around the area and picked up some orbs and some ecto-plasam. The land of Bigfoot does contain more paranormal activity we plan on investigating.
